Members of the FPA New York chapter are invited to speak at workshops offered to the public by the Science Business & Industry (SIBL) branch of the New York Public Library. These presentations, conducted year round, every other Tuesday evening and every other Saturday afternoon, are part of a robust financial literacy education program at SIBL. Topics covered in these workshops include budgeting, credit, debt management, education funding, investing basics, wills & estates. These topics and many more are all intended to appeal to the varied demographics of New York Public Library patrons.

If you enjoy sharing your knowledge of financial planning topics and, you are a seasoned presenter, please contact for more information to sign up. Participants will be expected to complete the FPA All-Member Virtual Media Training conducted monthly by Ben Lewis, Public Relations Director for FPA National, prior to their first scheduled workshop. If it has been a while since your last public speaking engagement, we encourage you to participate in an upcoming FPANY Toastmasters Club meeting, where members of our chapter support each other in honing their public speaking skills.
