Program: College Aid and College Funding - What's New

Kalman A. Chany, nationally recognized college financing expert and author, will be presenting an overview of financial aid and other college financing options. Common myths, the varying impact of different college funding options on financial aid, recent changes to the aid application process, and other consumer-friendly information will be covered. Information and planning strategies regarding the new New York State aid programs (i.e. the Excelsior Scholarship and the Enhanced Tuition Award) will be provided. Recent tax law changes and their impact on educational financing will also be discussed. There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of the program.

Speaker: Kalman A. Chany, Educational Financing Expert - Campus Consultants Inc.

Kalman A. Chany is a nationally recognized expert on educational financing. He is the founder and president of Campus Consultants Inc., a Manhattan-based financial aid advisory firm. He is also the author of the annually-updated Princeton Review guidebook, Paying for College Without Going Broke, now in its 26th edition.
